GST calculator

GST is the 10% tax added to most sales in Australia. Some items, like basic food, are GST-free.

Use this for invoices and quotes. Your BAS uses the totals for the whole period.

BAS due date

A BAS (business activity statement) is the form you send the ATO to report GST. Most small businesses send one each quarter.

A later date usually applies when a registered tax agent lodges for you. Monthly lodgers have different dates. If a due date falls on a weekend or public holiday, you have until the next business day.
