Know where the business is heading.

We turn last month's numbers into decisions for the next three months. You get forecasts, budgets and management reports you can actually read. It is the finance team a big company has, without hiring a full-time finance director.

What's included

Numbers that look forward.

Bookkeeping tells you what has happened. Finance management tells you what is coming, and what to do about it.

  • A forecast of money in and out (your cash flow). It shows when the tight weeks will be.
  • A budget for the year (your plan for what you will earn and spend). Each month we check the real numbers against it. That way you find out early if you are off plan.
  • KPI dashboards (the handful of numbers that show how the business is going). We keep them up to date so you can check them any time.
  • A report pack each month or every three months. We explain it in plain English. We do not leave it in a spreadsheet.
  • Reports for your bank or a grant body. We use their format and meet their deadline. This includes covenant reports (the numbers a lender checks each period). It also includes forecasts for a loan review, and grant acquittals (proof of how you spent grant money).
  • A finance team on call. Ring us before you hire someone, sign a lease, change prices or buy something big.

Who it's for

Businesses that have outgrown the bookkeeper.

Owner-run businesses with clean books, but nobody looking at what comes next.

Growing past what a bookkeeper covers

Your books are reconciled (matched to the bank). Your BAS is lodged. That is the GST (goods and services tax) form you send to the ATO, the tax office. But no one tells you if you can afford the next hire. No one says where the cash will be in March.

Borrowing, or applying for a grant

The bank wants forecasts and covenant reports. The grant body wants an acquittal. You need these done properly and on time. They have to be in the format the bank or grant body asked for.

Owners facing a big decision

Maybe it is a second site, a new lease, a price rise or buying out a partner. You want the numbers worked out before you commit, rather than explained afterwards.

How it works

Three steps, then the reports arrive.

We do not do open-ended retainers (an ongoing fee with no set end). You know what you will get, when you get it, and what it costs.

  1. A conversation

We ask what you need to know each month and which decisions are coming up. We check what the bank or grant body has asked for. Then we look at the books you already have.

  2. A fixed scope in writing

We write down which reports you get, how often, who gets them, and what it costs. You agree to it before any work starts, so the first pack never comes with a surprise invoice.

  3. The same team, all year

You get one person to contact, and they know your numbers and your file. You can reach them by phone, text or WhatsApp. Ask a question on the day you need the answer and you get it the same day.
